Are you looking for soul sister friendships and personal growth?

If so, you've come to the right place!

From the Founder, Janet Tamassia:

I created The Sage Sisters because I needed it. Despite loving being a wife and mother and knowing I made a difference in my work, I felt as if something was missing and didn't feel fulfilled. I often asked myself, "Is this all there is to life?" I craved deeper meaning and better understanding of why we are here. I also loved reading personal development books and wanted to have meaningful conversations about them.

What this group has become is the result of the magic of the universe and the participation of the incredible women who have joined me on this journey.

We offer Connection and Community

Some women join us for the same reasons that I initially created the group -- to have meaningful discussions about personal growth topics. Some want to understand themselves more and want to improve their relationships and their life experiences. Some want to find spiritual healing and peace. Some are searching for their purpose in life. Some simply love learning. Some are discovering who they are at this stage of their lives -- before, during, or after transitions such as a new job or career, empty nests, separation or divorce, retirement, etc. While we each have a unique story and reason for joining, we are all seeking connection and community with other women who like to live as intentionally as we do.

We bring our open minds and hearts and create a safe and nurturing space where we each feel we can share our authentic selves while we explore, discover, learn, and grow. We support, encourage, and inspire one another. We share our unique wisdom and learn from one another.

We are Focused on Personal Growth

We subscribe to the idea that growth is a lifelong journey. We explore topics related to our mindset and inner selves, relationships and communication, spiritual growth, physical wellbeing, and practical living. We enjoy learning new ideas, practices, tools, and techniques for self-discovery, self-care, healing, and growth. We understand that a change in perspective can change everything.

We are a Collective - Everyone Supports the Group

Sage Sisters Members engage with one another during live virtual events, within a private Facebook discussion group and Member portal, and during occasional in-person events. Members facilitate events including a Book Club (open to all), Chat with the Sages (discussions around a topic; Members only), and Sage Circles that offer equal sharing and support (Members only). Members are encouraged to create and offer events and discussions, follow their own learning paths, and support the group for the collective good of all.

We are Connected at a Soul Level

I named this group The Sage Sisters, but we recognize that we are connected at a soul level. I would not be where I am today without the encouragement of the women in this group. It has brought me fulfillment, joy, and a greater sense of purpose.

If you are looking for a group like ours, we'd love to have you join us!

The Sage Sisters is inclusive and welcomes all women regardless of ability; race/ethnicity; and cultural, sexual, religious/spiritual, and political practices and beliefs. In addition, we use an inclusive definition of women and welcome cisgender women, transgender women, and people assigned female at birth who identify as non-binary or gender fluid. We believe that everyone has unique life experiences and perspectives and should feel this group is a safe place. As such, we offer each member respect and kindness.

We welcome you!

"I have grown in so many ways personally, emotionally, and spiritually from being a member of The Sage Sisters, and I have met some amazing women along the way, too. I am appreciative of the safe space that has allowed me to open up, to be vulnerable, and to really dig deep within myself. I feel like I have a strong foundation on which to continue to build the best version of myself. I appreciate all the love, compassion, and understanding extended to me." - Sage Sisters Member
